The Italian piadina is a lot like the Spanish tortilla, both being made from roughly the same ingredients. The main difference is that the tortilla uses lard and the piadina uses olive oil. Piadinas are mostly filled with light foods like salads, whereas the tortilla can be filled with anything.
What I have here as breakfast is a simple, yet delicious and healthy meal. Along with the tuna, I also shoved into the three piadinas lettuce, cherry tomatoes and egg-less mayonnaise.
